Upton Warren Water activities weekend 17th to 19th July 2009

"I really enjoyed the weekend at Upton Warren. It was great fun and I made friends with people from other places across the Midlands.
The best bit was learning how to sail again, as I did it at Arden in 2006 and have been wanting to do it again ever since.
The instructors were helpful and the male ones, who took us for raft building, were a real laugh! Becky, who took us for kayaking, was great too and I enjoyed it immensely. The highlight whilst kayaking was Bella, (one of the girls I met) who managed to capsize six times within the session, it was hilarious. (Sorry Bella if you read this but you have to admit it was funny!)
The one downside was that it rained while we were trying to take the tents down. Never mention the word tents and rain in the same sentence whilst camping! (You know who you are…. Jenny!)

It was a brilliant weekend and I would do it again." Claire (update Nov09 photos now in the Gallery!)

This will be a 20 day trip (4 trips of 5 days) from probably 16th July to 31st July 2010. We are currently seeking expressions of interest at the moment. See flyer for more details: PDF icon
