Senior Section

Ages 14-26

The Senior Section offers a whole range of activities and opportunities for young women aged between 14-26.

Let your hair down and have fun as a Ranger. Rangers are 14-25 years old - a friendly group who are up for all kinds of fun!

Develop your skills as a Young Leader. Young Leaders aged 14-18 are dedicated to helping young girls enjoy the challenges of guiding. You can even train to become a Guider or an Adult Leader.

Take part in the Look Wider, a personal development programme designed to offer fun and flexibility to suit the individual. It’s all about choosing challenges and learning skills for life. You can take part in an overseas trip, for example, or work with local units in your area. Perhaps you fancy taking up fencing, investigating how a radio works, or running a community event on your own! Whatever you want to do, Look Wider is tailor-made to help you achieve it.

Senior Section offers something for everyone, and this includes a range of leading award schemes and opportunities designed to help you get the most out of life.

  • Queens Guide Award - The ultimate achievement in guiding, open to any Ranger, Young Leader or Guider aged between 16 and 26.

  • Duke of Edinburgh Award - A programme of challenging activities and rewarding experiences. If you are aged between 14 and 25, you can get involved. For more information and links to the Award website click here.

Senior Section offers fun and flexibility - you choose what you want to do and we will support you all the way.
