Chief Guide Gill Slocombe was in the Midlands on Thursday as she spent the afternoon visiting Peak 2015.

Over 6000 young people from around the world spent the week enjoyinh Derbyshire's International Guide and Scout camp, held in the grounds of Chatsworth House.

The huge camp, which ran from July 25 – August 1, offered young people a range of activities to choose from - from the adrenalin fuelled adventure sports of abseiling, caving canoeing to the new skills of wheelchair basketball and circus skills.There were also live bands, a cinema and a whole heap of fun activities that took young people on adventures through different time zones.

Gill spent the afternoon touring the camp and meeting young people, as well as presenting some awards- photos of which can be seen in our gallery.
