Well Done

In August, Girlguiding Birmingham and Birmingham Scouts once again welcomed The National Scout & Guide Symphony Orchestra and Concert Band to Birmingham for a series of concerts.
142 young people from Guiding and Scouting from all over the UK took part in a week long residential course at Old Swinford Hospital School, Stourbridge, culminating in two concerts at the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire at the end of the week.
The Concert Band also played at the Severn Valley Railway Station in Kidderminster and at Grand Central, New Street Station.

Ten girls from Midlands Region took part. Well done to all our young people! What a great advert for Guiding and Scouting!

Next year’s concerts will be on Friday 2nd and Saturday 3rd August 2019, so keep the dates free!
