Commissioners’ day

This day is for all district and division commissioners.

We’d love you to join us for a day of training opportunities and networking with other commissioners.

You will be allocated 3 sessions for the morning and 2 sessions for the afternoon from the following list, you’ll be able to indeicate your preferences on the booking form and we’ll do our best to allocate you the sessions you prefer.

Morning sessions

• GO – how to use it to make your role easier
• Social media – making social media work for you
• Honest and difficult conversations
• EDI – helping your leaders manage girl behaviour
• Safer guiding – what we can do to support our leaders

Afternoon sessions

• Policies and how to apply policies
• The young leader programme
• Online RENs
• Looking at how we monitor our enquiries and give a warm welcome

Here is the booking link – closing date for bookings is Sunday 12 October midnight.

Places are limited. You will receive confirmation of your booking.

Registration and tea/coffee will be from 9:00am and the event will start at 9:30am, and will finish approx. 4:00pm

Lunch will be provided, and you will need to let us know of any dietary requirements you have by completing the question on the booking form.

Travel expenses will not be paid by Girlguiding Midlands, these are a legitimate expense that may be claimed from your county, division or district – whichever applies to you.
