Become a volunteerWhat interested you in becoming a trustee for Girlguiding Midlands?
I have been in guiding for 45 years and held roles at local, county and region level. So becoming a trustee to help steer our region over the next few years feels like a really good thing to do.
What skills do you bring to the role?
I am a Chartered Accountant and business owner so hopefully have a lot of financial knowledge to bring, but also my many roles in guiding over the years including county commissioner and region chair of finance mean I have a lot of experience and understanding to bring from that too.
What is your experience of Girlguiding?
We belong to an amazing organisation that offers so many new skills and opportunities to all of our members that will last them a lifetime.
Tell us a fun fact about you
I really love elephants and have been very lucky to visit elephant sanctuaries in several countries and will be doing so in Kenya soon too.
