What interested you in becoming a trustee for Girlguiding Midlands?

Keen to be part of the team that develops the strategy for the region, to ensure Girlguiding ethos is recognised and shared and that girls have opportunities to succeed and be the best version of themselves.

What skills do you bring to the role?

Outgoing, team player and ambitious.

What is your experience of Girlguiding?

Currently I run a Brownie unit in Derbyshire, assistant county commissioner for Derbyshire county as well as a mentor for leaders in training. Have taken part in region and county internationals and been a part of Girlguiding since I was a Rainbow- Girlguiding is a big part and essential part of my life

Tell us a fun fact about you

Alongside Girlguiding I volunteer for a Greyhound rescue called Greyhound Gap and have three rescue Greyhounds of my own. We have fostered many Greyhounds from Gap, just under 20, and only ‘failed’ 8 times.
