Become a volunteerI would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself. I’m Kirstie your region chief commissioner, my 5 year term began on the 1 August and what a privilege it will be to lead the region over the next coming years. I’m a Guide leader based in Nottinghamshire and was Nottinghamshire county commissioner until taking on this new role. I’ve held various roles over the years. I’ve been a leader for 32 years and a member since joining as a Brownie all those years ago. I’ve gained so many skills, had some amazing adventures and experiences, not forgetting the friendships I have made. Girlguiding means so much to me and hopefully as a team we can share those experiences for many more years to come. So I’m looking forward to meeting many of you when I’m out and about in the counties, please feel free to invite me and the team to your events.
