Young member programme lead volunteer

We’re looking for a young member programme lead volunteer – if you’re looking for your next guiding challenge this could be the role for you.

What you’ll do

• support a number of advisers & coordinators including
  • walking
  • outdoor activities
  • Duke of Edinburgh’s Award
  • Queen’s Guide award
  • Queen’s Guide award alumni
• contribute to the region strategic plan
• oversee delivery of the region plan

About you

You don’t need to have done this role before — we’ll support you with training and guidance. We’re looking for someone who:

• Is passionate about opportunities for our younger members
• Enjoys leading and supporting other volunteers
• Is organised, reliable and confident managing multiple projects
• Communicates clearly and works well as part of a team
• Is happy to think strategically and solve problems creatively

You must be aged 18+ and willing to be (or become) an active member of Girlguiding Midlands. Some travel across the region is required, with expenses covered.
