Become a peer educator
A fun filled weekend where you will make new friends, develop new skills and improve your confidence.
Peer education is Girlguiding’s innovative programme that trains members aged 14-25 (Rangers, young leaders, adults under 25) to empower themselves and others to make a difference in the lives of girls throughout the UK.
Peer educators help Brownies, Guides and Rangers explore important topics. As young people they use their own experience to bring the subject to life.
Peer educators run fun, safe and challenging sessions which we develop with expert partners. These sessions focus on important skills and issues such as:
- Mental well-being
- Relationships
- Confidence and assertiveness
Peer education training
This is a two-day training and will take place from 6-8 March.
This weekend open to members aged 14-25. Know someone you think would make an amazing peer educator? Share the link below with them to help them get started on their journey.
To gain the skills required to become a peer educator you need to complete the peer education e-learning, safe space for 14-17 or safer guiding training and attend a peer education training weekend.
