One thing most people know about me is that I love craft and always have at least a couple of different projects on the go! Whether it be sewing or painting, I will give anything a try at least once.
Back in August, guiding gave me an opportunity to share these skills en masse when the Betty bus event came to Nottingham. Children and adults of all ages were invited onto the bus to try a range of crafting activities from kite making to origami to macrame to seed planting while also being told about all the amazing things guiding does with the hope of recruiting some new girls and volunteers.
The whole day was fantastic (helped massively by glorious sunshine!) and Team Notts managed to get 4 new volunteer enquiries and 49 new girl enquiries.
