Become a volunteerEveryone needs to have the correct level of a safe space training for their role. You may have your membership withdrawn if you don’t complete the levels you need. Find out what level you need here.
We recommend that all leaders, assistant leaders and leaders in training complete level 3, but it’s not a mandatory requirement.
By the end of the course you will have:
- Looked at signs and indicators of harm and abuse
- Learnt how to deal with emotions through safeguarding concerns
- Learnt how the reporting process steps apply to your role
- Identified key documents and where to find them
- Identified how to apply a risk assessment in different scenarios
- Been reminded about your role and which hat you wear
