Gain experience/ find out information about outdoor qualifications. Join us for a weekend of skills and fun with friends outdoors! There is also the option to join us for the day.

Join fellow Queen Guide’s award alumni to share your memories of doing the award, as well as of guiding in general. There will be displays of photos from the awards throughout the years, as well as details of how the award programme has changed.
We’re inviting any member, past or present, who has earned or who is working towards their Queen’s Guide award. This would include holders of the pre 1985 version which was earned in Guides.
We’re delighted by the response to this event. Due to the popularity of the afternoon session, we’ve added a morning session also.
Morning session: 9:30am – 12:00pm. We are accepting bookings for the morning session.
Afternoon session: 1:30pm – 4:00pm – this is now fully booked

Your 1st response training is valid for three years. You’ll need to redo the full 6 hour training course and e-learning in order to make sure your training is up to date to keep all members safe. You will need to attend in-person and virtual sessions for 1st response and complete the 1st response e-learning.
This virtual Zoom training is for module 2 and will need to also complete module 1 and 3.

The e-learning can be completed before or after the full training course and must be completed in order to be recognised as a first aider in Girlguiding.

Are you ready to Ride and Seek?
Join us on an exciting adventure to Germany and Amsterdam. Ride and Seek is an exciting challenge event consisting of a virtual welcome, followed by a day at Phantasialand in Germany before groups make their way to Amsterdam to join us for a wide game across the city to earn points before coming together for a closing ceremony and picnic in the city. This event is for teams of Guides (aged 12+) and Rangers, young leaders with 2-3 adult leaders, adult volunteers, Trefoil Guild & Inspire.

Come and join us as we connect adult volunteers across the county from all divisions, districts and units.
Everyone is welcome to come and just socialise, but if you want to learn some new skills, we have organised a varied programme of sessions which are bookable when you register.
As usual there will be cakes and refreshments available, our Guiding Essentials Equipment Store will be in attendance and a lunchtime ‘marketplace’ featuring many of our county advisers.
