Transitions

Information about the job role: 

We’re looking for a transitions lead volunteer, working as part of the growth, retention and transitions team – if you’re looking for your next guiding challenge this could be the role for you.

What you’ll do

• champion good transitions practise across the region
• bring transitions to the forefront of region planning
• support counties to develop and strengthen transitions practise on a local level
• develop innovative techniques to ensure all girls have a space in the next section

About you

You don’t need to have done this role before — we’ll support you with training and guidance. We’re looking for someone who:

• Is passionate about continued opportunities for our younger members
• Is organised, reliable and confident managing multiple projects
• Communicates clearly and works well as part of a team
• Is happy to think strategically and solve problems creatively

You must be aged 18+ and willing to be (or become) an active member of Girlguiding Midlands. Some travel across the region is required, with expenses covered.
