Become a volunteerInspired by the popular TV show Race Across the World, Rome to Home is a challenge event where we will journey through Europe completing challenges, experiencing new cultures, meeting Scouting and Guiding friends and earning points.
Teams will begin in Rome with a scavenger hunt-style challenge before beginning their way across Europe. Each team will plan their route allowing them to complete as many challenges as possible before returning to the Midlands for a celebration.
We are looking for teams of 10 Guides and Rangers (aged 12+) with 2 or 3 leaders to join this adventure. Teams can be made up at a unit, district or county level.
Payment details
£250 payable to Girlguiding Midlands, each team will also need to set their own travel budget which we calculate will be between £1550- £2000
£50 deposit per team member to Girlguiding Midlands required 28 days after your booking is made
£200 balance required to Girlguiding Midlands by 1 October 2025
